Emperor Jean Jacques Dessalines
This is the man that claimed freedom for all black slaves where ever they where in the world.  His victory over Napoleon Bonarpate and General Rochambeau was not just for the Haitian people but for all black people.  Unfortunately the word didn't get out to far and those who knew couldn't do much about it.  But a great number of nations knew about the claim.  In order to continue their dirty trick or to avoid the worst, they simply closed their border to nations like Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad, Martinique, Islam, Guinea, Mali, Ethiopia, Gana, Senegal and some other strong black men nations.
Here we are in 2004 celebrating 200 years of Independence and we are still not free.

Haiti The untold story 1985 - 2005
What would it take to bring this young athletes to an international level?
Standing meditation
Our flag said in French: "L'union fait la force" meaning: "United we are stronger" By keeping together, we create a force that can conquer all obstacles, accomplish great task or taking on any challenges.  United we are strong does not mean the bulls whatch for themselves and the deers care only for their kind.  No in the forest, they all interact with each other regardless of what they are.  When danger arise, they make noises or specific signals to alert the weaker one .  The Haitian Martial Art community needs to apply that same principle to take Haiti to an International Level.
